Position Summary

This full-time, exempt position reports directly to the Manager- Electrical Engineering.

Job Responsibilities:
Designing and creating detailed electrical schematics and control diagrams for switchgear systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software.Creating detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control diagrams to be used in the manufacturing process.
· Participating in the selection and specification of switchgear components, including circuit breakers, contactors, transformers, and other elements.
· Preparing detailed bills of materials and wiring diagrams to support the manufacturing process.
· Collaborating with mechanical engineers, technicians, and other professionals to ensure that electrical systems are properly integrated with mechanical systems.
· Staying up to date with industry standards, best practices, and new technologies related to switchgear design and manufacturing.
· Ensure designs comply with relevant safety codes and standards, such as ANSI, UL, and the National Electric Code (NEC).
Skills, Requirements, and Specifications
· Experience working in the Electrical Engineering Department.
· Experience in CAD software like AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and MicroStation is required.
· Experience in intelligent CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, Promise, ETAP, etc., will be desirable.
· Should be a Team Player who can work in a fast-paced environment.
· Attention to detail is a must for this role.
· Knowledge and familiarity with ANSI UL Standards for Switchgear.
Education: Bachelor's or Masters Electrical Engineering Degree manufacturing.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
