Pool Lifeguard

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant individual to join our team as a Pool Lifeguard. This part-time position is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all pool patrons. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for guests of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and enforce pool rules and regulations.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, performing rescues and administering first aid or CPR as needed.
• Conduct regular safety checks of the pool area, including water quality and equipment functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized pool environment, including monitoring the cleanliness of changing rooms and surrounding areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries and addressing any concerns or issues.
• Attend regular training sessions and staff meetings to stay updated on safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Prepare and submit incident reports when necessary, documenting any accidents or safety violations.
• Assist with pool events and activities as directed by management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid lifeguard certification from a recognized organization.
• Strong swimming skills and the ability to perform rescues and administer first aid.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patrons and staff.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in emergency situations.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous lifeguard experience is preferred but not required.
