Starting Pay Rate: The pay for this position is $16.11 per hour
Schedule: A person in this role will work from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM, following a rotating schedule. The rotation is 2 days on, followed by 4 days off, and then repeats. Workdays will rotate throughout the week, but the pattern remains consistent.
Introduction
The Customer Service Representative assists passengers, visitors, and other employees at the Lincoln Airport Authority.
Essential Functions
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the desirable knowledge, abilities, and skills.

A majority of work will be performed indoors in areas occupied or open to the general public. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Successful completion of pre-employment reference check, criminal history check (required by the Transportation Security Administration), physical assessment, drug screening and MVR (motor vehicle report) review, and other requirements as per Lincoln Airport Authority policy. Any associated costs for the screenings will be covered by the Lincoln Airport Authority. The employee must possess when hired, and maintain while employed, a valid State of Nebraska driver’s license and be insurable under normal rates.

Essential Functions
- Assist passengers with transporting luggage and articles to and from automobiles at curbside, parking garage, parking lots, and within the terminal building.
- Assist individuals by providing wheelchair assistance and other reasonable requests.
- Answer questions and provide information regarding the airport, city and state.
- Conduct tours of the airport.
- Inspect the public areas of the terminal for cleanliness and report issues.
- Perform intra-office mail duties.
- Be alert to systems that detect serious malfunctions of elevators, escalators, fire alarms, emergency doors, heating, air conditioning, or ventilation systems.
- Conduct themselves pleasantly and courteously at all times.
- Will not accept tips, favors, or other inducements in connection with their duties.
- Assist passengers with local transportation and lodging services.
- Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position.
- Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities may be assigned at any time.
- Exhibit a friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant demeanor.
- Must be able to speak with clarity, and read and write English fluently.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
