A Day in the Life of a CSS at Lightwell:

β˜‘ Start your day responding to client inquiries via phone and email, ensuring each one is handled efficiently and with care.

β˜‘ Process a new client’s policy endorsement request, making sure all details are accurate and up to date.

β˜‘ Spot a coverage gap on a renewal and flag it to the CSA and Producer to proactively address the client’s needs.

β˜‘ Issue Certificates of Insurance and Auto ID cards, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

β˜‘ Wrap up the day by collaborating with teammates on improving service workflows and identifying areas where we can enhance the client experience.


What You’ll Do:

  • Be the first point of contact for client inquiries, resolving most issues in one call whenever possible.
  • Process policy endorsements, certificates of insurance, and billing questions with precision and efficiency.
  • Spot a coverage gap and flag it for the Client Success Advisor and Producer to proactively address the client’s needs.
  • Act as a trusted advocate for clients, ensuring concerns are heard and resolved with empathy and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with CSAs and Producers to support renewals and ensure seamless client service.
  • Provide crisis management support, handling urgent or escalated client situations with calmness and problem-solving expertise.


What We’re Looking For:

βœ… Active Property & Casualty License – Required

βœ… Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial insurance (agency or carrier side)

βœ… Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making skills

βœ… Proficiency in agency management systems and carrier platforms

βœ… High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

βœ… A proactive mindset – ability to anticipate client needs and take initiative

βœ… Passion for exceptional service and a commitment to delivering a boutique client experience
