Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and meal assembly under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment
• Support with basic cooking tasks, including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients
• Organize and store ingredients and supplies efficiently to facilitate smooth kitchen operations
• Help with dishwashing, waste disposal, and recycling to uphold cleanliness standards
• Assist in catering events or large-scale meal services as needed to support team efforts

Experience

• Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and knife skills is advantageous
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures is a plus
• Experience in the food industry or culinary field demonstrates a strong foundation for this role
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Prior kitchen experience involving meal preparation or catering is highly valued

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
