Dental Assistant Trainee

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated employee, who is willing to learn. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice while providing excellent patient care. This position requires a can do attitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Will train. Experience preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and answer any questions they may have.
• Ensure that the dental clinic is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a general dentistry setting is preferred.
• Ability to perform X-ray imaging safely and effectively preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively in a clinical environment.
• Certification or training in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory.
