The Opportunity: We are seeking a dynamic Member Relations Director to join our team. The successful candidate will embody the core values that make LIMRA AND LOMA the world’s leading industry trade association. What You’ll Do:
- Engagement & Growth: Drive overall engagement, awareness, and utilization of services, and retention of membership. Accountable for the growth of assigned accounts.
- Relationship Management: Serve as the primary relationship owner for top-tier member accounts, focusing on expanding and deepening relationships with existing members and senior management.
- Sales Strategy: Raise awareness and engagement among senior leadership, cultivate long-term relationships, and develop actionable insights informed by data.
- Member Support: Provide account management, motivation, and support to assigned members. Act as a liaison between members and LIMRA AND LOMA, identifying sales opportunities and bringing in subject-matter experts as needed.
- Event Management: Manage and lead study groups, committees, and conferences. Assist in recruiting members for committees and study groups, and in planning, promoting, and managing member events.
- 10 years of experience in insurance or financial services, with an emphasis on annuities and retirement, and strong life insurance knowledge.
- 10 years of experience in sales and/or relationship management/account management.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.

- Build Relationships: Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to establish trust and rapport, and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Technical Expertise: Anticipate customer needs, provide general technical information about LIMRA AND LOMA products, and possess excellent time management, decision-making, and organizational skills.
