About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly, fun, and passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic pediatric therapy team! If you love working with children and families in a collaborative, supportive environment, this is the place for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities designed by the supervising SLP.
- Collect and record accurate data on client performance and progress.
- Prepare and organize therapy materials, activities, and equipment.
- Maintain compliance with all professional, ethical, and legal standards.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation (daily notes, progress reports, discharge summaries).
- Communicate regularly with families, regarding strategies and progress & providing home activities and support.
- Conduct developmental screenings and reassessments.
- Attend team meetings and supervision sessions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Current state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (as required by state regulations).
- Previous experience in pediatric settings (preferred).
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Passion for working with children and families.
