Summary

The Medical Support Specialist plays a vital role in delivering high quality, patient-centered care focused on men’s health, hormone therapy and SP. They are responsible for assessing patients, triaging, administering treatments, performing venipuncture and ensuring accurate documentation while fostering a trusting and professional environment. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, efficiency in a fast-paced environment and the ability to discuss sensitive health topics with confidence and empathy. Medical Support Specialist must be licensed and certified in their respective fields/roles, based on state requirements.

Tues: closed

Wed: 7a-2p

Thurs: 7a-5p

Fri: 7a-2p

Saturday and Sunday: closed

Duties And Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Vitals: Assist patients to exam rooms, record vitals (weight, blood pressure, etc.), and ensure accurate documentation.
• Triage & Communication: Gather patient history, assess needs, and relay all pertinent information to medical staff.
• Medication Administration: Accurately administer and document prescribed treatments per provider instructions.
• Patient Education & Engagement: Build rapport and confidently discuss sensitive health topics, including testosterone therapy and SP.
• Trust & Relationship Building: Foster long-term patient relationships, ensuring comfort and confidence in our treatments.
• Phlebotomy & Lab Processing: Perform venous punctures, handle specimens correctly, and follow protocols for charting and processing.
• Performing and assisting with procedures such as Pulse and PRP treatments.
• Efficiency & Workflow Management: Minimize wait times and enhance patient experience.
• Accurate Documentation: Complete all charting promptly and precisely per provider direction.
  
  

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Multi-tasking & Efficiency: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer Service Excellence: Providing compassionate and professional patient interactions.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to think quickly and resolve patient concerns.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Work on feet for up to 11 hours at a fast pace.
• Frequent bending, crouching, and maneuvering.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  
  

Certifications & Licenses

• Required: Current certification in Medication Aide, Phlebotomy, Nursing, or Paramedic based on state requirements.
