Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team at Limestone Nursing and Rehabilitation. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our residents' recovery journeys and enhancing their quality of life through personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive environment.
- Help with mobility and transfers to ensure resident safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in resident rooms and common areas.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized care plans under the supervision of nursing staff.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
- Experience in dementia care or working with elderly populations is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and basic nursing principles.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
