Mobile Pet Groomer – W2 Employee (Base Pay Commission Tips)

Pay: $4,000.00 – $8,000.00 per month (average, based on performance)
Location: McKinney, TX
Service Areas: Melissa, Mckinney, Prosper, Frisco, Little Elm, The Colony, Plano, Richardson, Garland, Addision, Highland Park, University Park, Downtown Dallas, Farmers Branch, Carrolton, Sachse & surrounding areas.
Type: W-2 Employee
Schedule: 5 days a week
Hours: Appointments scheduled between 8 AM – 6 PM (some days may extend slightly later)

Compensation

• W-2 employee status (taxes handled for you)
• $2.15 per hour base pay 30% commission per completed groom
• 100% of cash/card tips
• Average monthly income: $4,000–$8,000 , depending on appointments and add-ons (sales)

Our mission is to deliver top-quality grooming while maintaining a positive, supportive work environment for our groomers. We’re growing quickly and seeking a dependable, animal-loving professional (or motivated trainee) who wants a long-term role — not just a short-term gig.

About the Role

As a Mobile Pet Groomer, you’ll provide grooming services in our fully equipped, air-conditioned vans. You’ll travel to clients’ homes, deliver exceptional service, and enjoy independence — without the chaos of a salon.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-service grooming: bathing, brushing, drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, de-shedding, and breed-standard or custom cuts
• Safely drive to and from appointments in a company-provided van
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace
• Communicate kindly and clearly with pet owners
• Handle pets gently, patiently, and safely
• Manage daily route and appointments efficiently
• Report any pet, vehicle, or client concerns promptly

Requirements

• Experience required (training provided)
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record
• Able to handle dogs up to 100 lbs
• Must provide personal grooming tools (clippers, shears, brushes, etc.) after training
• Dependable, punctual, and customer-focused
• Fluent in English
• Able to commit to 5 days per week (8 AM – 6 PM routes)
