Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Litigation Attorney located in Oak Brook, IL. The Litigation Attorney will handle a range of responsibilities, including drafting legal motions, appearing in state and federal court proceedings, participating in trials, and taking depositions. The role also involves strategizing and managing breach of contract, probate, real estate, fraud, and construction cases through various phases of litigation. The attorney will work closely with clients to address their legal needs and provide counsel for optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong legal research and analytical skills
- Experience with drafting Complaints, Motions and other legal documents
- Familiarity with courtroom procedures
- Capability to conduct depositions effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently
- Licensed to practice law in Illinois; additional state admissions are a plus
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- 5-10 years of litigation experience preferred
