Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Center Director in managing the daily operations of the child care center.
- Supervise, mentor, and support teaching staff through coaching, evaluations, and professional development.
- Support the implementation and ongoing development of age-appropriate curriculum and educational programs.
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and center policies.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and inspections to maintain quality and compliance.
- Assist with strategic planning to improve program quality, increase enrollment, and strengthen community partnerships.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, staff, and community stakeholders.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred or as required by state licensing regulations).
- Proven management or supervisory experience in a child care center or early childhood education setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development and curriculum planning.
- Classroom teaching experience in an early childhood environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough understanding of state licensing requirements and best practices in early childhood education.
- A genuine passion for working with children and creating a welcoming, inclusive learning environment.
