Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for the care and supervision of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in various activities to promote learning and development.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
- Implement age-appropriate educational activities that support early childhood learning.
- Manage behavior in a positive manner using effective behavior management techniques.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for children at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Assist children with daily routines such as meals, naps, and playtime.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere by working with children with disabilities or special needs.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or babysitting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Ability to provide first aid when necessary; certification in first aid is preferred.
- Strong skills in teaching basic concepts through play and structured activities.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support positive interactions.
- Experience in toddler care, infant care, or caregiving roles is highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents.
