Residential RemodelerPosition Summary
The Residential Remodeler is responsible for completing residential remodeling and handyman projects while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service. This position involves hands-on construction work, coordinating project activities, supporting team members, and ensuring projects are completed according to the agreed-upon scope, timeline, and budget.
The Residential Remodeler must communicate effectively with customers, keep them informed of project progress and any necessary changes, and work independently or alongside other team members depending on the needs of the project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Perform residential remodeling, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general handyman work, including minor electrical and plumbing tasks.
- Work independently and collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
- Help coordinate project work and ensure the scope of work is completed within the expected timeline and budget.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding project progress, changes, and any unexpected issues.
- Follow all applicable safety precautions and ensure safe work practices are maintained on job sites.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and supplies, including sprayers, ladders, and tarps, are returned from job sites and properly stored.
- Evaluate projects to determine the most efficient approach without compromising quality or safety.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential construction, remodeling, carpentry, drywall and painting with minor electrical and plumbing work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a team.
- Professional customer service and communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
- Full-time employment: 35–40 hours per week.
- Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, with hours potentially ranging from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., depending on project needs.
- Pay: $22–$30 per hour, based on demonstrated skills and experience.

All new hires are subject to a 90-day probationary period.
