Carpenter/Home remodeler/Jack of All Trades

Overview

Are you skilled in most all aspects of remodeling?? Are you self employed and burnt out on chasing your next paycheck and tired of doing estimates?? Looking for that right person that can and has done it all when it comes to flipping houses. Ideal candidate will have had experience remodeling/flipping multiple houses from start to finish -- from clean out to punch list. This would be an opportunity for full-time year-round work as a subcontractor.

Duties

• Anything and everything it takes to flip a house from start to finish!
• Initial clean out of house and demo
• Building and/or rebuilding of walls
• Replacement of windows
• Replacement of doors
• Some drywall work
• Some painting work
• Some minor electrical, plumbing or HVAC work
• Trim work such as installing of new baseboards, window and door casings, kitchen cabinets, bath vanities, etc...
• Installation of LVP
• Installation of tile
• Exterior work such as landscaping and yard clean out
• Conduct heavy lifting safely during material handling or structural assembly
• Apply construction estimating skills to assess project scope and materials needed
• Follow safety protocols related to power tool safety and general construction site safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the worksite while adhering to all safety regulations

Experience

• Proven construction experience with residential carpentry projects and remodeling work, especially on flip houses
• Must have own tools
• Must be very detailed orientated
• Must be very organized
• Must be very clean
• Familiarity with various trades such as electrical experience, plumbing installation, roofing techniques and tile laying

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
