Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Associate to join our team in West Palm Beach. This entry-level role is designed for a candidate eager to learn the fundamentals of private equity deal sourcing while contributing across business development, sales outreach, marketing, and relationship management.
Lightview Capital employs a sector-driven investment approach across three core sectors:
· Business Services (including facility services, commercial services, industrial services, marketing services, compliance & risk management, and residential services)
· Software (including B2B software, SaaS platforms, productivity tools, enterprise applications)
· Tech-Enabled Services (including managed IT/cloud services, information technology outsourcing, security/managed services, life safety & technology solutions, event/engagement tech)
The successful candidate will play a key role in building our deal pipeline, managing outreach campaigns, cultivating relationships with market participants, and supporting investor relations within this broad sector framework.
- Drive outbound outreach to investment banks, founders, intermediaries, and corporate contacts.
- Manage CRM database (DealCloud, Salesforce, or equivalent) and ensure accurate tracking of deal flow and relationship touchpoints.
- Research and identify new target companies, sectors, and potential deal sources.
Marketing & Relationship Management- Draft and distribute marketing emails, press releases, and firm communications.
- Assist in managing the firm’s digital presence, including website updates and social media posts.
- Support fundraising efforts by preparing marketing collateral and tracking investor engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic achievement.
- 1–2 years of experience in business development, marketing, sales, or related fields (internships acceptable).
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (DealCloud, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Strong interest in private equity and deal sourcing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Outgoing, energetic, and comfortable engaging with executives and prospective partners.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced settings.
- Positive, teachable attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow within private equity.
- Full-time position based in West Palm Beach, FL.
