Lightspeed Voice is now recruiting a hands-on contributor to join our team as an Onboarding Specialist. The Onboarding Team is core to Lightspeed Voice’s products, and Onboarding Specialists are technical experts who set our customers up for success on their communications platforms.

The core of your role will be centered around phone communication with customers and external platform support teams in order to get profiles fully set up. Identify key customer contacts and connect them with the appropriate Lightspeed Voice resources.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between each customer and internal teams to facilitate completion of onboarding.
  • First point of contact for customers after sales for the first 30 days, to set up and instruct use of our products and support structure.
  • Monitor and encourage customer engagement throughout the Onboarding period.
  • Act as the first point of contact to rectify any customer questions or concerns during the onboarding period.
  • Identify at-risk customers and make every effort to rectify progress.
  • Coordinates and executes onboarding related activities for clients.
  • Manages new client onboarding via direct contact, phone, email.
  • Provide phone and email technical expertise on the software applicable to the client.
  • Tracks onboarding tasks against a schedule and coordinates with internal staff to ensure goals are met on a timely basis.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required. BA or BS preferred.
  • 1 years of Customer Onboarding, Networking, VoIP telephony, Trouble Shooting, Customer Service, or Call Center experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. (in-person, written, and phone).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Must be well organized.
  • A persistent, resilient, and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional and friendly customer service demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word; comfort with paperless workflows.
  • Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Represent the company professionally in all internal and external interactions.
  • Contribute ideas and participate in initiatives supporting company goals.
  • Perform office-based work requiring extended periods of computer use.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of office supplies and materials, up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time and utilize a computer for extended periods of time

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

  • Customer service: 2 years (Required)
  • Software troubleshooting: 1 year (Preferred)
