Position Overview
Lightspeed Restoration is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to grow and maintain strategic referral relationships with plumbers, insurance agents, and insurance adjusters. This role is relationship-driven and field-based, requiring proven sales experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to represent the company professionally in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong referral relationships with plumbers, insurance agents, adjusters, and related professionals
- Conduct in-person meetings, ride-alongs, lunches, and presentations with referral partners
- Educate partners on Lightspeed Restoration services, processes, and response capabilities
- Identify new business opportunities and develop targeted outreach strategies
- Track and manage contacts, meetings, and follow-ups using CRM or internal tools
- Represent Lightspeed Restoration at industry events, networking functions, and community meetings
- Collaborate with operations and project management teams to ensure smooth handoffs and partner satisfaction
- Maintain consistent market presence and brand visibility
- Meet or exceed defined activity and referral goals
Required Qualifications
- Prior business development or outside sales experience (required)
- Proven track record of relationship-based or B2B sales
- Experience working with plumbers, insurance agents, adjusters, contractors, or related trades preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working independently in the field
Preferred Experience
- Restoration, construction, insurance, or mitigation industry experience
