We’re looking for a Direct Care Supervisor who’s ready to lead with compassion, energy, and accountability while supporting youth programs that truly change lives.
In this role, you’ll help guide and support Adult Care Specialist across residential programs serving youth ages 18–24. Every day brings something new — from coaching staff and solving problems to ensuring our programs run smoothly and safely.
What You’ll Be Doing
✨ Leading and supporting Youth Workers in their daily responsibilities
✨ Recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing awesome team members
✨ Conducting regular supervision meetings and providing ongoing coaching
✨ Reviewing documentation and ensuring quality care standards are met
✨ Helping manage schedules, staffing, and day-to-day operations
✨ Supporting employee relations and performance management with HR guidance
✨ Maintaining compliance with agency policies and state/federal regulations
✨ Coordinating on-call coverage and helping resolve operational challenges
✨ Organizing team meetings that keep everyone connected and informed
✨ Promoting a trauma-informed, client-centered environment
✨ Supporting safety standards, inspections, and emergency preparedness
✨ Encouraging continuous learning and professional development

Work Environment
This is not your typical desk job. You’ll work in residential settings including shelters, group homes, and detention facilities where every day is meaningful and impactful. The environment can be physically and emotionally demanding, but the rewards of supporting youth through difficult moments are immeasurable.
This role is considered essential and requires onsite presence — no remote work available.
Physical Requirements
This position is active and hands-on. Expect standing, walking, bending, lifting (50 lbs), and staying engaged throughout the day.
Schedule & Travel
Schedules may include evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on program needs. Local travel is required, including transporting clients in your personal vehicle when needed.

Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in youth services or residential care
- CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field
- Previous supervisory experience
