What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Real Estate Settlement Officer position at Lighthouse Title?
Lighthouse Title is looking for an experienced Real Estate Title and Settlement Officer to be based out of our California, MD Office (St. Mary’s County, Maryland).
For this position, we are looking for someone that has at least three (3) to five (5) years of concentrated real estate title experience with strong communication skills that is goal-oriented and kind. Real estate is a stressful industry and emotional intelligence is more than just a catch phrase at Lighthouse Title. For this position, we seek a candidate that has extensive experience in each step of the real estate title process: from title and escrow file opening to post-closing. We also seek someone that is a self-starter and that is competent with technology. Experience with Qualia, G-Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and other industry technology tools are pluses.
Maryland Title Insurance Producer License is preferred. Maryland notary or the ability to acquire is required. Associate’s degree or other higher education is preferred but not required.
