Job Summary
We are seeking a
detail-oriented and organized Real Estate Settlement Processor to join our team in Elkridge, MD. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the administrative and processing tasks associated with real estate transactions from contract to closing. The ideal candidate will have strong communication
skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a solid understanding of real estate settlement procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process real estate contracts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate all aspects of the closing process
- Communicate with buyers, sellers, lenders, realtors, attorneys, and other parties
- Prepare and review closing documents
- Coordinate and review all information to accurately process the transaction
- Ensure all documentation complies with legal, regulatory, and company requirements
- Track transaction timelines and follow up to ensure deadlines are met
- Resolve discrepancies, title curative items and issues that arise during the settlement process
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all transactions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in real estate settlement processing preferred
- Knowledge of real estate transactions and settlement procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with settlement or title software (Qualia) is a plus
