What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead data cleanup and remediation efforts for an enterprise-wide risk management database transformation initiative
- Build and implement robust database structures to support a new cloud-based risk management data product
- Support the migration of on-premises SQL Server environments to Azure or Snowflake cloud platforms
- Design and develop large-scale application data schemas optimized for reporting and analytics purposes
- Execute database engineering tasks including data transformation, structure optimization, and quality assurance
- Implement slowly changing dimension methodologies to track trends and historical data changes
- Partner with architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical database solutions
What You'll Need to Have:
- Proven experience with large-scale database transformation and migration projects
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server for data cleanup, transformation, and database development
- Solid understanding of data schema design and development for large applications and reporting systems
- Knowledge of both Azure and Snowflake cloud database platforms and migration strategies
- Demonstrated ability to work with slowly changing dimensions and temporal data structures
- Experience building and optimizing databases in complex, enterprise-scale environments
- Strong problem-solving skills for database remediation and structure improvement initiatives
- Alteryx experience is a significant plus for data transformation workflows
