What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver - Part-Time (11p-7a every other weekend ) position at Lighthouse Senior Living?
Are you a GREAT teammate? Do you LOVE providing care and compassion for the elderly? Our Lighthouse Senior Living community is looking for a part time Caregiver. This is a critical position, in our Ellicott City location. As part of the Wellness team, you will be responsible for assisting residents in varies daily basic life activities. We’ll expect a good bedside manner with at least 1-year relatable experience, CAN/GNA certifications a plus. Hourly rate starting at $17.00 with room for experience. This position requires both assisted living and memory care.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrated compassionate, patient with a strong customer service focus
- Ability to show tactful compassion in high stress and emotional situations
- Provide care as directed by the nurse or designee to residents residing in the facility.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ condition both physically and emotionally.
- Provide assistance with activities of Daily Living.
- Maintain knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance, and use.
