Are you a GREAT teammate? Do you LOVE planning events and activities? Our Lighthouse Senior Living community is looking for a part time Activities Assistant. This is an exciting position, in our Ellicott City location, giving you the opportunity to be creative in this role. As part of the Activities team, you will be a part of the planning, development, organization, and implementation of our residents’ activities. Hourly rate starting at $16.00 with room for experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assists with the planning, development, organization, and implementation of community resident activities in order to meet resident’s spiritual, emotional, recreational and social needs.
- Tracks resident engagement in activities and debriefs families and Director of Memory Care & Life Enrichment.
- Supports family education programs and promotes family involvement in activities which support resident spiritual, social, recreational and emotional needs.
- Maintains and communicates schedule of varied activities to appeal to different interests and capabilities and promotes participation.
- Maintains craft and recreational supplies to support resident independent engagement in crafts and hobbies.
- Creates and fosters an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positivity in leading activities and staff
