Job Title: Construction Field Supervisor - On Site - Hotel Project
Location: Syracuse, NY
Job Description:
Lighthouse Hotels, LLC is seeking a hands-on, experienced Construction Field Supervisor to lead on-site activities for a Ground-Up hotel project. We need a take-charge professional to ensure the project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations, including scheduling and supervising sub-contractors.
- Review blueprints, schematics, specifications, and construction documents to ensure accuracy.
- Ability to cross reference franchise standards/prototype plans for compliance with construction documents.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with all members of the authority having jurisdiction on the project.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety (OSHA) and building codes.
- Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and site documentation.
- Proactively identify and solve on-site issues (design conflicts, material delays).
- Perform regular daily quality control inspections.
- Review and vet RFI and change orders request
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent/supervisor, preferably in hospitality or commercial projects.
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar supervisory role, with the ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and contract documents accurately.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a consistent and professional demeanor.
- Coordinate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, owners and franchise reps.
- Ability and flexibility to adjust and adapt to unexpected changes during a project.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational skills, and problem‐solving decision‐making skills especially under pressure.
- Computer proficiency is a plus.
