Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a 3rd Grade Lower School Teacher at Lighthouse Christian Academy in Nottingham, MD. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging daily lessons focused on Medieval Period of History. Aligned with the Classical Christian education model, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and assessing and supporting students' academic and personal growth. The role also includes participating in faculty meetings, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to the school's mission and community.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Teaching to deliver effective and engaging instruction
- Background in Education and Training to support instructional excellence
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Passionate about nurturing children’s academic, social, and spiritual growth
- Familiarity with Classical Christian education principles is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred
Compensation
- $30,000-$40,000 (Depending on Experience)
