Grill Cook

This job is located on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. (100 Brewster Blvd, Camp Lejeune, NC 28547) A military contractors ID will be provided if needed to get on base. Must pass a simple background check.

Pay option # 1 -- * Tip Pool* Base pay is $8.00 per hour, but the minimum average tip gap is $7.75-$8.55 per hour added to your wages. Our Grill Cooks average range from $16 - $16.55 per hour. (Higher depending on tips, with a high average of $17.25-$18.75 and a peak of $23.82 per hour.)

Pay option # 2 -- You can be paid a flat hourly rate between 15-16$ per hour.

Must have a mode of transportation.

Cook:

• Hours of operation are 0600-1400 (6am-2pm)
• Breakfast shift 0600-1030
• Lunch Shift 1000-1400 (Most important time period for tips)

*Hours have the opportunityto grow down the line.

Duties:

- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Take walk up orders from customers

Qualifications:

- Ability to pass screening process (simple background check) and gain a contractors ID (which will be provided at no cost.)
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & Multi-Task positions on the line
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

We are looking for a skilled (training will be given for those with no experience) Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items, ensuring that they are prepared to the highest standards. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
