As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will provide family-centered ABA services to individuals with behavior challenges and skill deficits under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Technicians are responsible for implementing behavior plans, data and data collection as well as training caregivers and staff in home and community settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct ABA with individual clients, implementing interventions for skill acquisition and behavior reduction as directed by the BCBA
- Delivering ABA across multiple environments including home, school, and community
- Collecting electronic data both accurately and effectively as it relates to the program created by the BCBA
- Communicate effectively with supervising BCBA/BCaBA
- Implement parent training to support children and adolescents reach behavioral goals and increase quality of life.
- Certificate, Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a behavioral health or related field.
- Previous work experience with children with behavioral or developmental disabilities
- Maintain reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance
- Additional certification may be required.
- Relevant experience preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Current RBT certification (Required)
- Florida Approved Medicaid Provider (Required)
All Candidates:
- Current RBT certification Required
- Current Florida Medicaid provider approved with valid Medicaid Provider Number
- Must be in good standing with Medicaid/ AHCA
- Must pass a comprehensive background screening
Salary : $20 - $25
