What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Staff (Youth/Mental Health/DSP) - Part-Time position at Lighthouse 1 LLC?
Lighthouse 1 is seeking caring and dependable Direct Care Staff to support female youth with mental health and behavioral needs in a safe, structured group home environment.
This position requires individuals who are patient, responsible, and ready to work with youth in a hands-on setting.
Part-time Schedule
1st Shift 7 am - 3 pm
2nd Shift 3 pm - 11 pm
Alternate Weekends
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of experience working with children (Staff with less than 1 year of experience will be required to work under supervision until 1 year of experience is obtained.)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and Central Registry background checks
Required Certifications:
- CPR/First Aid (Adult & Child)
Preferred (Not Required)
- Medication Administration (MAT)
- Experience in a group home, residential, or behavioral health setting
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing direct care and supervision
- Assisting with daily living skills and hygiene
- Promoting positive behaviors and independence
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment
- Completing required documentation, including behavior notes and reports
