What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator position at Lightcraft?
Coordinator — Lightcraft.tv (Full-Time, In-Person)
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Type: Full-Time, In-Office
Lightcraft is a production services company specializing in camera movement systems — from aerial and vehicle-based cinema systems to custom-designed systems for commercials, films, and branded content. We’re a small, technically driven team working at the intersection of engineering and cinematography, partnering with top-tier studios, production companies and directors to bring dynamic shots to life.
We’re looking for a Coordinator to help keep our fast-moving operation running smoothly. This person will work closely with both our Founder / Chief Technology Officer and Director of Operations, acting as the connective tissue between the technical and operational sides of the company.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and fluent enough in cinema and drone technology to transmit communications internally and externally from time to time. You’ll keep projects, people, and timelines on track — and help bring structure to a team of deeply creative and technical minds.
Key Responsibilities
● Coordinate communication and task management between the technical and operations teams.
● Support the Founder / CTO with scheduling, follow-ups, and project organization.
● Track project timelines, deliverables, and resource needs.
● Assist with inventory and equipment logistics for shoots.
● Support the DoO in implementing internal systems and operational processes.
● Manage documentation, call sheets, and client communications as needed.
● Help anticipate needs before they arise — keeping the team focused and aligned.
● Provide limited off-hours and occasional weekend availability to support time-sensitive needs from the Founder and DoO, ensuring continuity during fast-moving projects.
Qualifications
● Experience in production coordination, technical operations, or executive support (1–3 years preferred).
● Familiarity with camera systems, drones, or motion rigs — enough to communicate comfortably with technical crew.
● Strong organizational and multitasking skills; thrives in fast-paced, detail-oriented environments.
● Excellent communication and follow-through.
● Proficiency with Google Workspace, Airtable, or other project management tools.
● Calm under pressure, flexible, and great with people.
Why Lightcraft
We’re a small, tight-knit team that values ingenuity, precision, and craft. You’ll be part of projects that push technical boundaries and get to see your coordination directly impact some of the most dynamic visuals in modern production.
