Major Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications
- Develop features and functionality based on project requirements and technical specifications
- Maintain and enhance Lightcast's marketing website to deliver a high-quality customer experience
- Participate in code reviews to support code quality, maintainability, and established coding standards
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues
- Learn and apply relevant programming languages, frameworks, tools, and development practices
- Collaborate with team members across functions and global locations to deliver software projects
- 0–2 years of professional software development experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript, React.js/Next.js, Tailwind CSS or CSS, and HTML
- Familiarity with GitLab or GitHub, CI/CD practices, and Agile methodologies
- Understanding of software development principles, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C , Python, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with development tools and environments, including IDEs, version control, and bug-tracking systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies, programming languages, and development practices
- Internship experience, relevant coursework, or personal coding projects preferred
