Drop Bury Technician

Job Summary
We are looking for a Drop Bury Technician to install and maintain underground coax and fiber lines. This position involves operating equipment such as plows, trenchers, and boring tools, as well as performing manual digging when required. The role requires strong attention to safety, accuracy, and quality while working outdoors in various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate drop bury machinery (plows, trenchers, boring tools) to install underground coax and fiber lines.
• Perform hand digging when necessary to complete safe installations.
• Read and follow utility locate markings to prevent damage to existing underground facilities.
• Ensure proper depth and protection of buried cable according to company standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience with drop bury or underground utility work preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain plows, trenchers, and other related equipment.
• Basic knowledge of coax and fiber cable handling.
• Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
