What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Patient Care Coordinator position at Light Dental Studios?
We are ready to welcome a friendly, upbeat member for our front office team. The ideal candidate has exceptional customer service, and prides themselves on their attention to detail and ability to create relationships with patients.
Our office has an intimate family feel, that day-to-day will have a private practice feel, with the benefits of the support that having multiple locations/larger company bring.
Full time (40 hour) position available if willing to travel to other locations. This location is currently open Monday-Thursday. Compensation is dependent on experience.
The role of a Dental Receptionist includes (but not limited to):
- Greeting and welcoming patients
- Creating connections with each person that walks in the door
- Answering phones
- Checking patients in and collecting information such as health history, insurance, etc.
- Collecting patient portions for treatment
- Scheduling appointments for multiple providers/ offices.
- Verifying insurance benefit
- Confirmation calls for appointments
- Creating an exceptional experience for our patients through relationship building, follow through, and working to solve problems/questions they may have.

Previous Dental experience is a plus, but not required as we are willing to train the right person at a training wage (to be determined based on relevant experience).
