Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate billing of retail and wholesale vehicle sales.
- Post all sales and cost of sales transactions to the general ledger.
- Verify the completeness of all necessary documentation in sales deals.
- Process time-sensitive contracts and related vehicle sales documentation with precision.
- Handle lien payoffs for trade-ins efficiently.
- Verify and calculate sales commissions.
- Review and maintain schedules related to billing activities.
- Ensure accurate calculation and verification of sales tax.
- Collaborate closely with sales and finance departments.
- Conduct audits on car deals to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in automotive billing is required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., DMS, Tekion, MS Excel).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
