The Bright Beginnings Program Manager oversees all aspects of the evening and weekend, in-person six-week parenting program, as well as Alumni and Outreach initiatives. This role ensures high-quality program implementation aligned with organizational goals and funding requirements. The Manager cultivates strong relationships with parents and alumni to support engagement before, during, and after program participation. Key responsibilities include leading recruitment efforts, coordinating alumni communications and activities, and developing meaningful opportunities for ongoing parent involvement.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Model and demonstrate best practices in parent engagement to foster trust, participation, and positive outcomes.
- Ensure fidelity to program curriculum, policies, and procedures while maintaining high-quality implementation.
- Monitor program enrollment, attendance, and parent progress to support retention and successful completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community agencies and referral partners.
- Collect, track, and report program metrics and outcomes to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute effective outreach and recruitment strategies to drive program participation.
- Manage alumni communications, including newsletters and social media engagement.
- Plan and facilitate follow-up events and alumni gatherings to sustain long-term engagement.
- Ensure compliance with Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) requirements and reporting standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support program goals and expand impact.
- Partner with the education team to strengthen early learning strategies across the 32805 community.
- Capture and share compelling success stories and data to highlight short- and mid-term program impact.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, Social Work, Psychology, or related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in program management, preferably in family engagement or early childhood settings.
- Experience working in economically under-resourced communities with families with diverse and significant needs.
- Maintain current CPR/First Aid certification
- Experience leading teams and managing budgets.
- Non-profit experience is a plus.
License/Certification:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
