YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR MOBILE SERVICE TECH
You'll work from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with some weekends and evenings as needed. You'll travel around in a company service van, going to customers' sites and parts pickup locations, and performing exceptional repairs on lift equipment. Following all safety and operational procedures, you'll repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components to get the equipment in peak operating order. Responsibilities include (but aren't limited to):
- Performing customer-approved repairs and planned maintenance on lift equipment
- Maintaining your work vehicle and parts inventory
- Servicing equipment according to the customer's concerns and your own observations
- Testing equipment to check repairs
- Preparing and submitting inventory reports and work service reports
- Following the PM checklist, checking safety decals, and ensuring the availability of safety and operational manuals
- Assisting with other functions as needed
REQUIREMENTS
What You Need
- 18 years of age
- High school degree (or equivalent) or a technical degree in a trade like automotive
- 3 years of related mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl throughout the shift with minimal opportunities to sit
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift/move 100 pounds
- Ability to work in wet, humid, cold, and hot conditions

- Experience servicing automotive or industrial equipment
- Welding, diesel, and gas engine experience
- Able to think critically and solve problems independently
- Able to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
- Able to use computers and electronic devices for document submission
- Able to remain cool and calm during tense situations
- Strong organizational and time management skills for meeting deadlines
