What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loading Dock and Door Service Tech position at Lift Inc?
Lift, Inc. in Leesport, PA is hiring a hands-on repair and maintenance professional to join our field operations team as a full-time Loading Dock and Door Service Tech! You'll travel to local commercial clients to service their dock/door systems and fix whatever problems come your way.
When you join us, you'll work a consistent 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday schedule. Overtime is available. We're offering a competitive hourly wage (based on experience) and a terrific benefits package that we'll describe later in the ad.

What We Need From Our Loading Dock and Door Service Tech:
- 18 years of age
- 2 years of related mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics experience
- High school diploma, GED equivalent, or a technical degree
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to complete quality work independently
- PREFERRED - Experience repairing loading docks and commercial doors
Loading Dock and Door Service Tech Responsibilities:
Every day will bring something different as you travel to assigned locations and assist commercial clients with whatever they need. We'll provide you with a work van, and you'll be responsible for keeping it organized, clean, and up to date on routine maintenance. You'll treat customers professionally as you speak with them about their needs and answer any questions. Then, you'll get to work inspecting the systems, identifying the root cause of failures, and performing the appropriate repairs and maintenance services. As you work, you'll follow all safety procedures and regularly test the equipment to check functionality. As needed, you may need to drive to different sites to pick up parts and provide additional customer support.
