What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live-In/Live-Out Home Health Aide/Companion position at LifeWorx?
LifeWorx, a home eldercare company, is in need of up to 4 caregivers for an 81 year old woman with Alzheimer’s in White Plains, NY. Responsibilities include meal preparation, light cleaning and household up-keep, laundry, running errands (food shopping etc…), timely medication management, organized schedule management, and empathetic companionship.
Schedules: Full-time (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm) or Weekends (9am-5pm)
Live – In (Monday – Friday) or Weekends (Friday – Sunday)
Pay: $22 - $24 an hour; $250 - $300 per 24hrs
Must have:
- Work authorization
- Valid Driver’s license and dependable vehicle (no exceptions)
- HHA/CNA/PCA Certification (Preferred, but not required)
- References of at least 2 years from in-home clients of whom you’ve personally cared for.
