General Summary:

Under the administrative direction of the Director of Clinic-Based Services and the clinical guidance of the Medical Director, the Staff Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner plays a vital role in delivering high-quality psychiatric care. This position is ideal for a compassionate, driven professional committed to helping individuals begin and sustain their path to recovery.

What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric care including assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and medication management

• Deliver efficient, patient-centered services through evaluations, medication reviews, and ongoing monitoring

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community partners to ensure coordinated, holistic care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and clinical program development

• Conduct examinations and certifications for involuntary psychiatric hospitalization in accordance with Michigan Mental Health Code

• Maintain accurate, timely, and clinically sound documentation in electronic medical records

• Support and implement evidence-based psychiatric practices

• Engage in professional development through trainings, meetings, and conferences

• Contribute to a positive, professional presence in both clinical and community settings

Salary : $102,339 - $118,682
