Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about accuracy? LifeWays is seeking a Reimbursement Specialist to join our Finance Department. In this role, you'll help maximize reimbursement by preparing accurate claims, posting payments, and ensuring timely billing for Medicare, commercial insurance, and self-pay accounts.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and submit accurate, timely insurance claims.
- Post payments and reconcile consumer and insurance accounts.
- Maintain insurance information in our billing system.
- Monitor outstanding claims and work with insurers to resolve issues.
- Process electronic claims, self-pay statements, and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
- Support compliance with CARF, MDHHS, and LifeWays policies.
- Collaborate with teammates on special projects and provide backup support as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and represent LifeWays with professionalism.
Salary : $50,807 - $58,921
