As a member of our manufacturing Quality Assurance team, the Quality Control Technician I will enforce quality, safety, and sanitation regulations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your prior experience or familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) will ensure your success in this dynamic role. Full-Time, Hourly
Sunday 6am – 2:30pm, Monday – Thursday 7:30 – 4pm
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for inspecting, sorting, sampling goods, and checking products for defects and deviations from specifications
- Inspecting or measuring products for conformance to specifications
- Evaluating colors, taste, textures, and analytical parameters against specifications
- Performing daily QC floor audits
- Calibrating QC equipment
- Notifying supervisors or other personnel of production, quality or safety issues
- Rejecting raw material or finished product if not meeting specifications
- Prepare samples and forms for third-party lab analysis
- Assist with Regulatory and 3rd Party Audit visits
Qualifications
- Flexible availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Able to lift, push and carry up to 40lbs
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience in a food QA/QC role
- Experience or familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Ability to accurately maintain all documentation, analyze information, and create reports
- Familiar with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/Polish/Russian), preferred
