Area Sales Director, U.S.
Role Overview
The Area Sales Director (ASD) is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving company sales objectives within an assigned geographic territory. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing customers.
The ASD will build and nurture relationships across clinical, government, and private sectors, effectively communicating the value of our solutions to a diverse customer base. This individual is highly motivated, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, field-based sales environment. Success in this role requires strong territory management, relationship-building, and the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders across neurorehabilitation, sports medicine, professional and collegiate athletics, and government institutions, including military facilities.
Position Summary
This is a highly entrepreneurial, field-based sales role responsible for building and managing a robust pipeline of new and repeat business across B2B channels. The ASD operates remotely while traveling extensively within their territory to meet with prospective customers and referral sources.
The role requires managing multiple sales channels, coordinating referral networks, and executing strategic sales approaches that generate demand and drive adoption of ReWalk products.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across all target market segments
Prospect and build a strong pipeline through strategic outreach and relationship development
Engage key decision-makers and influencers to drive referrals and sales opportunities
Establish and maintain relationships with clinicians, end users, executives, purchasing teams, VA/government entities, nonprofits, and insurers
Develop and execute tailored strategies for each customer segment
Effectively handle objections and guide prospects through the sales process to successful outcomes
Contribute to ongoing refinement of sales strategy and market approach
Business Development Planning
Attend and represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements
Present insights and consult with mid- to senior-level stakeholders on market trends and opportunities
Identify and support marketing campaigns and initiatives that drive demand generation
Leverage market and competitive insights to strengthen positioning and differentiation
Coordinate across multiple sales channels to maximize territory performance
Core Responsibilities
Meet and exceed assigned revenue targets within the territory
Maintain accurate and timely sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting within Salesforce.com
Track and manage all customer interactions and account activity
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to achieve company objectives
Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in all interactions
Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and required training
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in medical devices, healthcare, physical therapy, or rehabilitation
Skills & Competencies
Proven prospecting and closing skills
Strong territory and pipeline management
Ability to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office
High level of professionalism, organization, and accountability
Additional Requirements
Willingness to travel 75% within assigned territory
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
