Direct Support Provider

You would be working closely with individuals to assist them with everyday, routine tasks. We are a growing company and need DSP professionals to help with the demand.
We provide all required training for free! And pay you while you learn! Company vehicles are provided for most errands and customer interactions.
This job requires someone who can:
- Pass the legally required background check
- Pass initial and random drug tests
- Has a driver's license, a vehicle, and car insurance
- Work plenty of overtime
- Work in Irvine, Stanton, and Winchester
- Work nights and weekends, as well as days
Additionally, a candidate needs to be able to:
- Promptly perform required record-keeping
- Be emotionally mature and treat customers and others with dignity and respect
- Understand and carry out instructions.
- Make suggestions for improvement, as well as accept suggestions when they are given to you by others
-Participate in training
-Honor the customer's choices for their life
-Provide physical assistance to individuals as they require it
-Coach recipients so they may enrich the development of their skills.
-Assist with daily living such as ambulating, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, bathing, meal planning and preparation, laundry, budgeting and financial assistance, homecare and cleaning.
-Provide emotional support, and advice and assistance to help individuals work through problems and issues that come up
-Make provision of or arrangement for, transportation to services, activities, and medical appointments as needed, including use of personal vehicle if required
-Participate in medical appointments and follow-up care as directed by medical staff.
-Cooperate with all persons involved with individuals during monitoring of SCL sites, including announced and unannounced visits to the customer's residence
-Perform other such duties as assigned by management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $47,500.00 per year
