Lifestyle Physical Therapy is a privately owned company local to the Tri-Cities, providing high quality, evidence-based care to our community. Our practice primarily works with orthopedic patients including work injuries, sports injuries, motor vehicle, post-operative rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, and other orthopedic injuries. Lifestyle PT strives to provide our community with the best quality care our profession can provide, including exercise-based care, functional activity training and education, work and sport specific training, and manual therapy. From initial evaluation to discharge, we work with patients one on one to ensure the best results throughout therapy.
We are currently a small team in the process of growing and expanding our clinic due to excellent response from the community.
Position Overview:
The Front Desk Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, handling everything from scheduling appointments to managing patient inquiries. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
Duties include:
- Greet and check-in patients with a friendly, welcoming attitude
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage patient inquiries
- Schedule and confirm appointments for physical therapy sessions
- Collect and verify patient insurance information
- Process patient payments, co-pays, and outstanding balances
- Manage patient files and ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Assist with office organization, ensuring the waiting area is clean and welcoming
- Coordinate with therapists to ensure efficient scheduling and patient flow
- Handle administrative duties, including filing, faxing, and data entry
- Provide general support to the team as needed
Front Desk Coordinator Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, or customer service role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of insurance verification and billing processes
- Ability to multitask and manage a busy office environment
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software
- Knowledge of physical therapy services or healthcare terminology a plus
- Ability to maintain professionalism and compassion in a fast-paced setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification a plus
