Lifestream Health Center is a busy, patient-centered pain management practice in Bowie. We are currently seeking a dedicated, long-term Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. We are looking for a reliable professional who wants to grow with our practice and provide consistent, high-quality care to our patients.

- Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for appointments (chart prep).
- Accurately measure and record vital signs (weight, blood pressure, temperature, etc.).
- Assist with patient intake, triage, and documentation in the EMR.
- Triage and process messages from patients to physicians.
- Perform urine drug screenings.
- Ensure patient compliance with UDS and PDMP monitoring.
- Assist providers in the procedure room (with C-arm machine, ultrasound, etc.).
- Manage prescription refills, DME orders, and pre-op instructions.
- Monitor clinical inboxes, voicemails, and patient cases throughout the day.
- Stock exam rooms with medical supplies and forms.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked exam room environment.
- Maintain inventory, exam rooms, and sterilization processes.
- High school diploma required; college coursework preferred.
- Medical assistant certification preferred, not required. Relative experience required.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and professionalism.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Schedule: Monday?Friday.
