- The Vice President of Quality Improvement at Lifestream Behavioral Center will lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services provided. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the organization meets and exceeds industry standards and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in behavioral health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the execution of quality improvement strategies and initiatives across the organization.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to establish quality benchmarks and performance metrics.
- Lead efforts to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Analyze data and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Foster a culture of quality and safety through training, education, and engagement of staff at all levels.
- Serve as a liaison with external agencies and stakeholders to communicate quality improvement efforts and outcomes.
- Manage and mentor a team of quality improvement professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Report on quality improvement activities and outcomes to the executive team and board of directors.
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality improvement within a healthcare setting, preferably in behavioral health.
- Proven track record of implementing successful quality improvement initiatives and strategies.
- Experience in a leadership role, managing teams and projects effectively.
- Extensive experience with regulatory compliance and accreditation processes in healthcare.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve quality improvement goals.
- Proficiency in using quality improvement tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments to drive organizational change and improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
