LifeSpring Health Systems is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist for our Salem, IN office. The Prior Authorization Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the prior authorization process for medications. Responsibilities include collecting all the necessary documentation, contacting the client for additional information and completion of the required prior authorization in order to proceed with prior authorizations. Complete, timely, and accurate identification and submission of prior authorization. Interacts with clients, insurance companies, patients, and sales representatives, as necessary, to request for prior authorizations. Answering phones and assisting patients is also required. Attention to detail and excellent documentation is a must. Prior medical practice experience preferred.
