Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team 20-30 hours per week.
Lifespring Health Center is an alternative health clinic in the Fountain City neighborhood of Knoxville, TN. We specialize in functional medicine, holistic healthcare, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. Functional medicine is a modern approach that focuses on healing the root causes of health issues.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties
- Handle front desk responsibilities, including greeting and checking out patients, taking payments, answering phones, scheduling medical appointments, and answering inquiries about our services with professionalism.
- Assist in daily office management tasks, including uploading documents to patient charts, sending and receiving faxes, mailing packages, entering lab orders, and ordering supplies.
- Assist in processing lab specimens.
- Maintain inventory of nutritional supplements sold in office.
- Provide exceptional customer support, addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Demonstrate computer literacy by proficiently using office software and tools for various administrative tasks.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an administrative role or similar position. Familiarity with office management practices, customer service experience, and proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g. Google Workspace apps, electronic medical record [EMR] systems), are highly desirable. Phlebotomy or medical assistant experience is a plus. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions is essential.
