Care for substance abuse and dual diagnosed impaired individual, by following a multidisciplinary treatment team’s individual treatment plan working under the direction of Program Manage, RN, Therapist and staff. Receive information from treatment team to adequately and efficiently serve client and family in a pleasant, safe and professional manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge of principles and processes of Park Place standard of behavior. This includes providing customer and personal services to our clients, families and any visitors which support Lifeskills’ Core Values.
- Ensures clients are oriented to the facility, client’s belongings are searched with client present.
- Monitor clients in order to detect unusual behavior, and report to treatment team.
- Unit rounds and searches are provided to ensure clients safety.
- Understand practice and processes of food services and work with Food Service Coordinator to ensure all food service and Health Department guidelines followed.
- Follows Infection Control Procedures at all times and strictly adheres to standard precautions by usage of protective equipment when handling blood or body fluids.
- Has a valid Drivers License and is able to transport clients in a 15 seat van.
- Able to take client vitals and contact clinical supervisor/RN if not in normal range.
- Knowledge of process and practice of medication dispensing, documentation and supervision.
- Organize, supervise and encourage client’s participation in social, educational, and recreational actives.
- Be willing to participate in other projects and tasks asked by treatment team.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED, Additional education preferred
Experience: 1 year experience in a related position preferred but not required or combination of education and work experience
Certification: CPR and First Aid within 30 days.
